The house is a 4 bedroom detached with only one bathroom. We wanted an en-suite, making the master bedroom bigger in the process, and a dedicated office downstairs as we both work at home. We considered moving to a bigger 4 bedroom house with en-suite, but several we looked at all cost at least £100k more than ours. |

22 October 2007. Work commences. It only took a week to clear the plot and dig out and concrete the foundations. Another week saw the first rows of bricks. |
